Most teleprompter apps make you choose: a polished one that’s locked to a single phone or tablet, or a browser tab that wants a subscription and an account before you can read a word. WillisTP is neither. It’s a small, focused native app that runs the same way on your Mac, your PC, your Linux box, and the phone or tablet on your rig — and it costs a couple of dollars, once.
Write in plain markdown. Headings become section markers you can jump between; HTML-comment speaker notes stay hidden from the live prompter. Then run it with a smooth, sub-pixel scroll engine, an eye-line cue, a focus band, and mirror modes for beam-splitter rigs. No account, no telemetry, no cloud — your scripts stay in files you own.

Your scripts belong to you
Every script is plain markdown in a local file on your device. No account, no telemetry, and it works fully offline. When you turn on camera-behind-text mode, WillisTP accesses your camera and microphone to capture that live view — all processed on your machine, never recorded, and never sent anywhere. Those optional device permissions are the only things WillisTP ever asks for — and it never phones home.
